Residential Wind Generator Plans Reviewed

“Can Plans For Residential Windmills, Generate Enough Electricity, Save You Thousands AND Be Simple to Use?”

Read on…

Homemade Residential Wind Generator Made From Windplans

If you want to build renewable wind energy, but don’t want to spend $4,000 to $30,000 to do it… you’re definitely not alone.

There are thousands of people around the world who are making their own homemade electricity, and there are tons of wind generator guides that have emerged because of this. In fact there are literally hundreds of guides that “claim” they can get you off the grid or reduce your electrical bill. The problem is that most of the guides are either incomplete, impracticle, or just plain don’t work.

However there are guides, to build homemade wind generators, that do work,

and deliver great information, but don’t be fooled by hype and the appearance of what these products offer. Matter of fact, the best guide that I’ve found looks unprofessional but the content and support is outsanding. The couple that’s behind www.windplans.com really care and want to help you achieve electrical independence, and you’ll save a fortune doing it!

This guide saves you the most on materials and generates the most electricity.
Plus an additional 4 books,

Homemade Wind Generator has great detailed information

from building your wind generator to hooking it up to your house.
Not only is this a great guide but I was very surprised at the customer support. Les got back to me within three days on a complicated question I had about grid tie.

Les and Jane are a real couple who do indeed live off of the grid, and have for 16 years. Their experience shows in how they present their guide. It’s got the most practical and applicable details for people wanting to get off the grid. All of their other guides are equally impressive and their customer support is excellent. This couple obviously cares and wants to help people get their electrical independence. Compared to all the other guides this has the most information that can be easily done. Everything that they demonstrate works great.

*Update 1/07/10*
With the addition of the video tutorials, and improved support, these wind generator plans have improved.

Earth4Energy has a great looking front page, and you would think that this guide has everything that you would want to get off the grid… The biggest let down is there is no customer support. This guide does work, and it’s full of great illustrations with step by step guides, followed by video instructions. The guide on how to get deep cycle batteries is worth more than 5x this guides cost, but you can get the same information at Build a Wind Generator for half the price. What I didn’t like, besides lack of customer support, was the forum and the product freebies.

Ben Ford’s guide has a lot of information and safety tips. This guide is full of videos and illustrations, but it lacked the money saving tips. This is a straight forward guide and you get what they say you’ll get. There is nothing misleading, it just lacks the information on how to get discount materials. This ups the cost of implementing DIY electricity, other than that this is a decent guide. A lot of the details necessary to complete an electrical system are left out, and the guide is not as detailed as Build a Wind Generator.

Energy 2 Green contains a lot of the renewable energy industry information. They could have spent less time explaining the renewable energy industry and more time on how to implement their systems. The content was light and there were no videos. There were illustrated guides, but if your going to spend $49.95 on a guide, you’d be better off purchasing one of the above guides. Their systems do work, but there could have been less fluff and more how to. You’ll get the best bang for your buck elsewhere, , but still it comes with a money back guarantee, like all of the products reviewed.
